I just got off the phone with my engine builder. He is looking at new EMS system that uses the blow through MASS instead of a suck through MASS sensor. He has built many turbo cars including 9 an 8 second mustangs. He said the blow through mass seem to work better and more consistent than the suck through. It is a small aluminium sensor about 2.5 in diameter inches that you put on the pressure side of the intake instead of the vaccuum side. It has air channels around it so there is no obstruction in the air flow and is very accurate. This new stand a lone EMS uses that type of mass air sensor. He said it costs under $500. I'll see if it has applications for the Z and what features.
